Mithoni
Elemental creatures of earth and water, mithoni are simple predators most often encountered in the Elemental Chaos and, less frequently in the Mortal world, either as a summoned creature or having accidentally slipped through the cracks between the dimensions. They appear as large, 4' long salamanders with oozing, dripping skins.
Often found lurking in marshes and shallow waters, hunting by latching onto a target with their bite and dragging them under water to drown.

Attacks with a bite that does 1d10 damage. If the attack hits the mithoni grips the target in its jaws. In the subsequent round it does no more damage, but drags their victim underwater. Submerged individuals take 1d4 damage per round as they are thrashed about by the creature.
Non-magical attacks do half damage.
Once a victim is dragged underwater the creature will disengage and swim away underwater, to feast on their victim.
